I had the opportunity to attend the wedding of Rusdi Ramli the actor, son of Norlia Ghani to Sharon Ann Paul, a music composer on the 16th of November, 2008 at Shah Alam. The gathering of about 260 friends and relatives was done in a simple but elegant setting. Though it rained really hard hours before the ceremony, it stopped raining by 8.00pm, alhamdulillah. Rusdi and Sharon was united in an akad nikah ceremony followed by a reception. Datin Seri Siti Norhaliza and Datok K were also present. Sharifah Shahirah (Sheera) and Zaibo were hosts for the night. Among the artistes present were Datin Maria Arshad, Datuk Aziz Satar and wife, Ning Baizura and husband, Hamid Gurkha, Datin Nina Juren and husband, Adibah Nor, Nash, Kavita Kaur, Maya Karin, Bob of AF fame and the list goes on. Bob, Nash, Adibah Nor, Ning Baizura and Datin Seri Siti Norhaliza entertained the guests present at the reception.
