Pernim Charity Show by FBB - click here to view ppt
The Faculty of Biosciences and Bioengineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, is organizing its first ever fund raising for PERNIM, an NGO, which is in need of monetary support. Its founder Hjh. Norlina Alawi is on a road show and will be visiting UTM from the 9th to 10th December, 2008 with her 50 kids and 30 caretakers. PERNIM has been caring for children between the age of 3-17 who are deprived, abandoned, orphaned and/or AIDS/HIV victims. In support of Norlina's effort, the faculty is holding a charity dinner show with the help of students and staff of the faculty and chancellory office as part of UTM's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The program will receive a coverage by RTM and Haliza Misbun will be the Master of Ceremony for the event. The faculty has been receiving donations from corporate bodies, companies and individuals. As dean of the faculty, I would like to thank all those involved in organizing the event and those who has kindly donated towards a worthy cause.
